Through the lens I look at the works of others and am taken on my private journey. This allows me to connect with an intimate element that moves my soul and to often be suprised by what I would never have seen. It is a place I cannot reach with my naked eye. I must be enclosed within the confines of a smaller space which pulls me in closer to see the grain. Here I aim to bring you into my world and softly compose how I have been moved.

Taken into the world of myth and celebration, I am guided on a mystical journey of movement, light, fire and lanterns, choreographed to song. I see this night in 'small' - through the eye of my lens where a different atmosphere is created. Each theme demands its own attention and I move in, hoping to catch magic I can keep forever.

My personal connection is with the clouds. I communicate with them daily and ask for guidance. On another vibration I feel angels abide here. I ask for help and I whisper what I want to the wind. Open, I wait to hear a reply. It always arrives. Try it yourself, something may happen.

I see nature differently now. Another world has opened and brought a connection to all that surrounds. It has reeled me in and without effort shown me its beauty. It's cycle so natural. When I photograph images, the subject appears to find its own position in the lens and allow me to gently capture it's 'moment'. For this I thank them all.

Left to my imaginings I begin to wonder. What else exists out there beyond all that I know? Much no doubt. Yet I may never know. So I like to stay with my imaginings and visit them often. Daily if I can.

I was drawn to this place for many reasons. The most obvious was to understand myself through connection with the land. The mystery of the landscape is enough to transport you anywhere - including inward, the most difficult place of them all. Yet here the surrounds make this effortless and a natural place to reside. Nature's grounding is strong. The journey is like the riding of the wave - still waters turn tumultuous and then still again. From morning rise to evening set, bare feet in the sand, I am home.
